Transformers Prime – Loose Cannons review

Loose Cannons features the return of Wheeljack and the debut of Skyquake’s twin brother, Dreadwing. Both are loose cannons when it comes to endangering innocents in harm’s way. We get to find out what Wheeljack has been up to since we last saw him in the first season episode, Con Job, where he tracks down Dreadwing for destroying another Wrecker named Seaspray. Both Optimus Prime and Megatron had to deal with Wheeljack and Dreadwing as loose cannons who tests their authorities. We also see some of the friction between Bulkhead and Wheeljack over Optimus Prime as Wheeljack never saw him in action until now. However, Optimus Prime’s actions proved Wheeljack wrong and he stays on Earth to explore. Both he and Dreadwing now have transformation modes. The good thing about this is that none of the humans, except for Agent Fowler, appear in the episode which is a relief. A great episode overall.
