Farewell Harold Ramis 1944-2014

Actor, writer, and director Harold Ramis has passed away at the age of 69 due to vasculitis, an inflammation of blood vessels. He was known for appearing Ghostbusters 1 and 2 as Egon Spengler and Stripes as an actor. As writer-director, he did Caddyshack, Groundhog Dog, and National Lampoon Animal house. Ramis influenced many writers-directors in the comedy genre. He kept the illness quiet and was visited by many, including the long-estranged Bill Murray. He will be missed by his family, friends, and the show business community worldwide.
