Star Wars Rebels – Relics of The Republic review

This is the second part of the season premiere that picks up where the Lost Commanders left off. We start with Kanan, Ezra, Zeb, and Sabine teaming up with the surviving Clone troopers – Rex, Wolfe, and Gregor – to deal with the Imperials led by Agent Kallus. The thing that stood out from this episode was about overcoming impossible odds in a David Vs. Goliath way as they dealt with three Imperial walkers.

Kanan still has trust issues with the clones after what happened in Order 66 that saw him lose his Jedi Master and was eager to leave the planet with the Rebels. It took Ezra’s words that saw him turn around to help them. Rex returned to join up with the Rebels, but I wonder if both Wolfe and Gregor did the same.

The highlight was the reunion between Ahsoka and Rex as it looked like she wanted to kiss Rex. Meanwhile, Hera and Chopper spent the majority of this and the Lost Commanders inside the Ghost trying to repair it so they can rescue the others, but had to deal with the incoming Imperials in orbit. The end of the episode sees the debut of a new Inquisitor that will lead to the next episode. Great episode overall to start off the season.
