Pop legend David Bowie has passed away at the age of 69 due to cancer. He just released a new album that hit #2 on the USA charts and #1 on the UK charts. Bowie has reinvented himself time and time again and is successful at it thus earning the title Master of Reinventions. Along with Alice Cooper, Bowie has brought visuals with music and paved the way for artists such as Madonna, Boy George, Lady Gaga, Marilyn Manson, and many others. His hit songs include Space Oddity, Heroes, Let’s Dance, China Girl, Modern Love, and Blue Jean among others. He did duets with both Freddie Mercury and Mick Jagger with songs like Under Pressure and Dancing In The Street. Bowie was also an actor as his most notable film was the Jim Henson sci-fi fantasy movie called Labyrinth with Jennifer Connelly. He was married to Angie Bowie where they have one child until 1980 and married to model Iman where they have one daughter until his passing. His place in music history is cemented forever. He will be missed by all worldwide.
