Star Wars Rebels – Hera’s Heroes review

As last episode focused on Sabine, we have an episode that focuses on Hera. Up until this episode we know next to nothing about Hera other than being a single-minded pilot who is devoted to Rebels and their cause. Her and Ezra team up to find her heirloom called the Kalikori, which is referenced to Star Wars Old Republic’s Kalikori Village on Tython. This is unlike Hera, who puts herself and her teammates in danger just to rescue her heirloom and luckily she realizes it. We see what Hera’s childhood is like and Grand Admiral Thrawn is showing to be a different and calculating villain for this season and I’m liking him more than Darth Vader, Darth Maul, and Grand Inquisitor. I think they’re trying to make up for last season that took a backseat to Darth Vader and Ahsoka Tano by focusing on the backgrounds of the main cast. My hope is that Kanan’s backstory is also explored as well. Good episode for Hera.
