Superman is one of the greatest icons of America and the world. Here are a list of achievements.

 

-Created in June, 1938

-Starred in both Action Comics and his solo title.

-1st superhero of all time.

-1st superhero to debut in the newspapers strips

-1st superhero to be animated

-Fleischer cartoons 1941-43

-Radio show that debuted Perry White and Jimmy Olsen

-Movie serials of the 1940’s starring Kirk Alyn and Noel Neill

-1st superhero to have a television series

-Adventures of Superman 1951-57

-Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen comic titles have been added

-1st superhero to have a Broadway show

-The Filmation cartoons of the 60’s

-Featured in the Superfriends cartoon 1973-85

-Superman: The Movie 1978, which won an Oscar for Visual FX Achievement.
