Julian Lennon – Lucy EP review

I was lucky to buy the Julian Lennon EP, Lucy, at a local Spec’s store because it was the only place that has it. This was Julian Lennon’s first release in over a decade since Photograph Smile. The EP was awesome on all fronts – he’s doing it for the Lupus cause and his childhood friend named Lucy passed away last year, he was also promoting his new music company called the Revolution, and introducing new artist James Scott Cook. There are four songs on the EP – Lucy and the acoustic version, Sober (written by James Scott Cook), and Beautiful, which was Julian’s tribute to his late father, John Lennon. The physical copies come with the replica of Julian’s original Lucy In The Sky drawing. Julian has progressed since Photograph Smile and James Scott Cook was great in his debut. This serves as a preview to their upcoming full albums this year. Great recommender.
