Joanne Siegel, widow of late Superman co-creator, Jerry Siegel, has passed away today at the age of 93. She was the original model of Lois Lane in the early Superman stories of the 1930’s and 40’s. After Jerry Siegel’s passing, she and her daughter, Laura, have got their half of the Superman copyrights. The family is survived by their daughter, Laura. Joanne Siegel will be missed by her friends, family, and the comic book community. Thank you for giving us Lois Lane. You will never be replaced.
