Transformers Prime – Con Job review

After last week’s episode that dealt with Cybertronian Scraplets, this week’s episode features an friend of Bulkhead’s named Wheeljack, who arrives on Earth with a ship of his own and he gets intercepted by the Decepticons. The twist to this relating to the episode title is that Decepticon shapeshifter named Makeshift disguises himself as Wheeljack to infiltrate the Autobots and their base. Everything was going well for Makeshift/ Wheeljack until Bulkhead had tell one of their stories that didn’t turn out to be true and Bulkhead figured out on his own that it’s not the real Wheeljack. Meanwhile, the real Wheeljack was held prisoner at the Decepticon’s ship and escaped from there to rekindle his friendship with Bulkhead. Optimus Prime, Arcee, and Bumblebee didn’t do much and Ratchet was still repairing from the Groundbridge from the Scraplets’ damage. This version of Wheeljack is based on the original G1, but wields two swords that’s a nod to the Armada version. Also, we get to see Wheeljack without his facemask as he looks good without it. Starscream has proven to be a capable Decepticon leader in Megatron’s absence when he was close to locating the Autobot’s hidden base. I felt this was a better episode than last week’s.
