Living For The Future

Legends of Tomorrow – Outlaw Country review

I didn’t care for the western episode last season and I sure didn’t care for one this season either, but I do care for the character of Jonah Hex. This was basically a sequel to the one from the first season when the team returned to the Old West and found an aberration that involves Hex’s nemesis, Turnbull, altering history because of an artifact from the future that allowed him to rule the western side of America. For Hex, this is his first time in seeing that Rip Hunter is missing and that Sara is leading the team. Meanwhile, Professor Stein is experiencing a memory change after last episode where his wife is replaced by someone else as a result of meeting his younger self. There is also the relationship between Vixen and Heatwave as the tension between them is still there, but Vixen is trying to get through to him in trying to reform. In the end, Nate gets a suit of his own and Ray Palmer may use the artifact to create a new suit. The end of this episode leads into the mega crossover as they head back home to 2016. A filler episode at best.
