Actor and pro wrestler Tiny Lister Jr has passed away at the age of 62 due to Covid-19. Blind in his right eye, he excelled in sports in high school and college before pursuing acting. He is best known for portraying Zeus in the Hulk Hogan movie, No Holds Barred, released in 1989. It was also in that same year, he continued his role in WWE’s SummerSlam, where he teamed up with Macho Man Randy Savage against Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake.
Since then he appeared in numerous films and television including Friday, Next Friday, Star Trek Enterprise, Matlock, Austin Powers Goldmine, Dark Knight, Fifth Element, and Jackie Brown among others. He returned to pro wrestling with a different name Z-Gangsta in WCW when he appeared in WCW Uncensored teaming up with Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Lex Luger, and Kevin Sullivan against Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage in the Tower of Terror cage match. It was during this time, he faced Abdullah the Butcher in World Wrestling Council. Few years later, he became a born again Christian.
Tiny has portrayed memorable characters on film, TV, and pro wrestling. He will be missed by the pro wrestling community worldwide.
