Ever since her old Sifu has returned and everyone else is dealing with their own status quos, things haven’t been the same for Nicky. She decides to travel to Thailand to resolve some issues with her ex-boyfriend Henry as he’s become a person of interest in a heist gone wrong.
After turning down a restaurant investment company’s offer, Mei-Li seeks help in re-organizing Harmony Dumplings, so she gets help from Jin and Althea. Plus Bo gets relationship advices while Nicky is not sure about getting back into the dating game after things between her and Henry are unresolved.
This is a good episode for Nicky because she’s trying to meet the demands of being a self-appointed vigilante in a chinatown and a martial arts instructor, but through it all she’s Human in the very end. Most of the supporting characters explored their dark sides while Nicky herself hasn’t until now.
Good episode overall.
