Living For The Future

Farewell Dr. Death Steve Williams 1960-2009

Pro wrestler Dr. Death Steve Williams has passed away at the age of 49 after he lost his battle with cancer. He has been battling it for the last several years and had throat operations that involved removing his voice. He had to use an electronic voice box to speak. Steve Williams was named as the World’s Strongest Man in one of the pro wrestling magazines and with good reason – he press slammed the likes of Lex Luger, Road Warrior Hawk, Big Bubba Rogers, and the Samoan SWAT Team. His tag team partners included Ted Dibiase and Terry Gordy and was a member of the Varsity Club, replacing Rick Steiner. A former UWF Champion and one of the toughest men in the business. He will be missed by family, friends, and the pro wrestling community.
