Arrow – My Name Is Emiko Queen review

After the Elseworlds crossover, we just learn from the show’s producers that Oliver’s deal with the Monitor will be touched on next season so that’s a giveaway. The focus of this episode is to learn more about Oliver’s half-sister Emiko.

Her mission is to get revenge on the one who killed her mother. It is reminiscent of Oliver’s old mission from the first season. Emiko’s ally in her quest is Wild Dog. After Felicity’s discovery, the episode ends with Oliver meeting Emiko.

Meanwhile the Suicide Squad has returned of sorts as they are now called The Ghost Initiative. Richard Diaz would supply them info in exchange for his freedom, but there is a catch – a bomb was placed in his head. Diggle is starting to become like Amanda Waller, which was pointed out by Lyla and the two are at odds over the whole thing.

They can’t use the Suicide Squad name because of the movie. Nice to see some old villains that were missed.

Great episode to come back with from hiatus.
