Living For The Future

The Flash – Memorabilia review

Barry Allen and his team discover that the only way to defeat Cicada was through his niece Grace, who is not the innocent girl they believer her to be and she’s still on her uncle’s side. As Sherloque Wells try to use the memory on Grace, Nora gets caught in it and both Barry and Iris are in Nora’s memories. One would think they would find out about her secret with Barry’s arch-enemy, Eobard Thawne.

It turns out that this journey through Nora’s memories affects present Iris as she sees her future self scold Nora and destroyed her Flash memorabilia. The writers should have left it at that, but instead they backpedaled where they say that it was Nora’s viewpoint of the whole thing. It’s not when her memories showed what really happened. They didn’t want Iris to look back and instead continued to put her on a pedestal.

We learn that Nora has been making her blog diary that is sent to the future where Thawne is reading it. Likely a source for his amusement. It will not be easy for Team Flash to get through to Grace in the coming weeks in order to take down Cicada.

Not sure what the point of the endscene was between Cisco and Ralph there, but you’re looking at future Justice League members. Good episode overall.
