Gotham – By Fire review

Because Supergirl debuted last night, I now watch Gotham online since their schedules conflicted a little bit. Latest episode sees Firefly being finally free and stop being herself while Selina is off with her. Apparently what Selina is doing is the result of what happened between her and Alfred. They had a potential partnership had Firefly not being killed off.

The stories that matter in this season are Bruce training towards his destiny, Theo Galavan’s ascension, and the main villains such as Edward Nygma rising. Penguin should not be used much in this season since I felt he was played out last season. I have to know where the producers’ priorities are at in terms of who this series is really about.

Firefly is in the same thing as former potential Joker, Jerome. Used for a few episode storyarc and then being killed off in favor of the more redundant things. This is one of the reasons this series’ ratings have gone down. Okay episode at best.
