Living For The Future

February 2013

  • Out of all the episodes shown this month and last, this is by far my favorite as a lot has moved forward and it took writer Geoff Johns to move things forward. We have Oliver dealing with two returning villains in Deadshot and China White, who are hired by Moira Queen to take out Malcolm… Read more

  • After Blue Beetle’s betrayal and Nightwing discovering the truth, Lex Luthor sends the runaways to rescue the team and they meet Arsenal who was still on the run from the Reach. Their teamwork gelled immediately when they took on the Black Beetle, even though they had little to no training. Meanwhile, we have Gordon Godfrey… Read more

  • After confronting Aya and the Manhunters last episode, this episode sees the debut of Orange Lantern Larfleeze as Razer tells us more about the Orange Lanterns and why they don’t exist as a Corp anymore. With Green Lanterns powered by will, Red Lanterns powered by rage, Star Sapphires powered by love, and Blue Lanterns powered… Read more

  • This episode focuses on Sean Pierce, Alex’s girlfriend and member of the Navy Seals, who has been framed for an assassination he didn’t commit and that’s where Division comes in where they discover that Amanda is using a rogue Division agent to impersonate him while having him take the fall for it. This is part… Read more

  • This episode was a mixed bag for several reasons. Here we have a continuation from last episode where Oliver and Diggle try to get Felicity to join the group full-time while they’re pursuing the criminal known as the Dodger, who snatches jewels without getting his hands dirty. Diggle and Felicity are making it interesting around… Read more

  • Complications mean a lot of things and among them is how to resolve this storyline involving Miss Martian, Aqualad, Artemis, Sportsmaster, Cheshire, Black Manta, and Deathstroke without compromising their undercover missions. As they were fighting over Aqualad and Artemis, Miss Martian plays her hand by exposing most of them, except for Black Manta and Deathstroke,… Read more

  • The producers and writers sure love Pat Benatar with a title like that. Here this episode picks up where the one before Babel left off as we see what Aya has been doing since turning evil and controlling both the Anti-Monitor and the Manhunters. We see what Aya is really capable of when she stages… Read more

  • If there is an episode that has the most flashbacks on the island, it’s this one here. They show what Oliver goes through to become an effective fighter when he’s taught under Deathstroke Slade Wilson, which I have to say is a much better interpretation than the one from Smallville. Slade clearly stole this episode… Read more

  • It appears that the last few episodes have focused on Blue Beetle and his scarab and this episode climaxed it. We see the Justice League for the first time since Alienated and they’re on trial for their actions that was done during the last season. The lineup is a nod to the previous Justice League… Read more

  • After the end of last episode that saw Aya turned on the others and commanding the Manhunters, the Interceptor crash lands on a planet that’s run  by alien thieves and hooligan. What’s worse for Hal, Kilowog, and Razer is that their powers were depleted and that both Kilowog and Razer are back to their native… Read more
